RoboTurca being a worldwide famous Turkish tourist guide is travelling to Greece because he has been invited by the Mayor of Serres City. He will be the honored guest of the festivities organised in May by the local authorities to celebrate the completion of 600 years since Serres Bezesten was constructed.
Grand Bazaar Instanbul
RoboTurca along with RoboSer will engage the young visitors of the museum in interactive games related to the history of this Ottoman covered market and its use in the past. Furthermore, the two robots will hand out brochures and spread out to the public information about other Bezestens in Turkey and more specifically in Istanbul. After all RoboTurca offers guided tours in Grand Bazaar which is currently placed in the location where two other big bedestens the Iç Bedesten and the Küçük Bedesten were united to form the core of Grand Bazaar. RoboTurca tells the visitors that Grand Bazaar in Istanbul is often regarded as one of the first shopping malls in the world.
