I learned that the culture of Starčevo is reflected in the framework of the museum on Neolit Square.
I stepped on the threshold of the museum and white dust appeared before my eyes.
It distracted me for a second, but I bravely continued walking down the corridor.
I entered a spacious room that contained so many antiques that it was impossible to count.
I didn't know where to start to observe and study about each of them.
I approached the nearest one, when I looked at it a little better the effect of white dust appeared again
- I was created in some strange land.
I was very shocked and looked back where I was right now, I didn't know what to do,
so I approached the nearest house.
A family of some strange objects was having lunch in front of the house.
I was terrified, but seeing no other people, I gathered my courage and approached that strange family.
I asked them - "can I join?", they agreed.
After they welcomed me pleasantly, I started a conversation with them.
My first question was: "Where are we now?", they answered that we are in the Neolithic.
After that question, a conversation about everyday topics followed.
I told a little about myself, after that they told me about their culture.
They invited me to go with them to a festival called Litneo "-2024", where it was very interesting.
All those antiquities that I had previously noticed in the museum took part there.
I told the other one, who is from the family I came to the festival with, that I knew these antiques from before,
and he started telling me something about them.
For the first object, he said that it was a pot made of larger and smaller fragments of clay,
which was decorated by pressing or pinching with nails.
Next was a goblet on a leg decorated with drawing, the base is red of various shades,
while the decorations are rectilinear patterns, triangles and spirals in white or black.
This was followed by a columnar figure with slanted eyes, eyebrows, a plastic nose and cut hair,
which is thought to be intended for magical rites.
The last object was a zoomorphic figurine, shaped like a bull.
Built of light red clay with admixtures of sand.
By the end of the festival, he only managed to tell me the descriptions of these 4 items
because the moment the festival ended, I was back in my own time.
This adventure left a big mark on my life and I will always remember it fondly!
